  19. NetteFraulein says:

@KingLouis1414 no you can buy transparencies made for inkjet prnters

  20. designermite says:

    6) Different materials require different types of inks and drying methods and tempetures for proper curing. Great introductory video but you may wish to research further. If you have questions regarding screen printing (silkscreening) feel free to ask or visit my website which can be found on my videos. Thanks!

  21. designermite says:

    5) Use masking tape carefully tape up edges on inside of screen frame to prevent ink from seeping out. This is a critical step to be done carefully or it will end up on your subtrate (material you are printing on) in this case a shirt. 6) Different materials require different types of inks and drying methods and tempetures for proper curing.

  22. designermite says:

    3) Spray and allow water to soak screen image for about 30 seconds before washing out unexposed emulsion. Lay newsprint flat against inside screen while leaned up against wall and blot both sides making sure that emulsion is not pushed into printing area. 4) Dry screen with fan and make sure there are no pin holes in screen as all open areas will print. Pin holes can be “touched up” by using unexposed emulsion with brush and allowed to dry.

  23. designermite says:

I have 25 years screenprinting experience so following recommendations: 1) Do coat both sides of screen at least twice and finish with the printing side last. This gives you a better stencil thickness which will increase the ink lay down, however you will need to increase your exposure time. 2)Use foam rubber inside the screen to hold it down with the plywood on top. This will help reduce light undercutting the wolf image on clear (the positive) when exposing.
